First, Myra and Madison accepted a grant from the PCA on January 21st at a formal award ceremony. Scrap’s residence at the Drexel University School of Dance continued with the final presentations to sold out houses for the students’ late January showing of the work they’ve created with Myra and Madison.
February/March 2010
Next, TIDE will be presented at Georgian Court University on March 12th in a concert shared with
Silvana Cardell and Marianela Boan. Myra and Madison will be rehearsing and updating this work in preparation for the performance and a new filming of the piece.

Mar. 26th and 27
In their third collaboration with him, Myra and Madison will then work with director Steven Sametz
on a new work with original music, to be presented at Lehigh University March 26th and 27th. This concert will feature lighting design by Madison Cario and performances by dancers Marie Browning, Jumatatu Poe, Zachery Svoboda and Lindsay Browning. The Lehigh Choir, Glee Club and Dolce will join in to explore magic and myth from the Renaissance. Fri./Sat., Mar. 26th and 27th at 8 pm in Baker Hall.

Another exciting opportunity was Ms. Bazell’s setting “Carry Me” on Ballet X, to be performed

April, Myra and Madison will return to Georgian Court University to work with dance students there.

SCRAP will be performing TIDE at La MaMa ETC NY !!! La MaMa Dance Festival April 10-20th. Details to be announced soon! http://www.lamama.org/
Scrap has been included in the NY dance Exchange, where Myra will be re-setting a work titled MELT on two very powerful dancers Ellie Goudie-Averill and Summer Schultz. |
